A joint effort between Eleanor Reddington and David Wrighton had to suffice for Alec.
Although neither Eleanor or David attempted to emulate the full comedic effect, there was no doubting the genuine affection and respect from all colleagues for a man whose dedication and commitment to his work and to justice issues has been formidable and unmistakeable.

The Conference in North Kent was the last that will be attended by Alec Bailey, pictured left, speaking after a presentation from colleagues at the end of the conference.
This was doubly difficult, because it is Alec who for countless years who has been the genius behind similar presentations, in which a wonderful mix of razor-sharp wit, real affection and side-splitting hilarity has been evident.
